Everlasting Love

There is going to be another week of holidays!
Okay, not exactly because there is still e-learning from 8am-1pm.
But aiyah, at least no need to go to school!

A lot of things have been happening over these few months!
Be it good or bad, that makes up life.
But I shall continue to rejoice in the Lord!

Manage to meet with Manping and my primary school besties(a long awaited one since years ago…).
Nice catching up with them (:

Had DEO camp last week!
It was tiring but great!
Get to know a few more people like Walter, Junkai, Justin, Douglas…
And nothing beats seeing lives being transformed (:

So happy for Yiying that she has encountered God (:
No one knows exactly what she went through, but God knows it all.
She is definitely going to be a mighty woman of God, a fighter in God’s army! (:

I am also amazed by Shengye.
His hunger for spiritual things is just WOAH (:
He had his first follow up today too, with his voice gone.
And he is still going to work tmr. oh manz
Hope your voice will be back real soon man!

Houston is also growing much (:
He stayed for service last Sat and didn’t regret it even though he was feeling very tired. Amazing (:

I shall carry more faith in life.
FAITH FAITH FAITH

I realised my faith leaks very easily.
Need to constantly pumped up my faith level.

The blindfold of fear is scary.
Prevents you from seeing things in God’s perspective.

People may look down on you, give up on you.
But you can never never give up on yourself.
Be strong and courageous.

God challenged me to do something during the revival night.
It is really quite crazy for me.
I don’t know, but since God said it, I shall trust Him! Haha..

Just got back my laptop today after weeks.
And electricity bill went up because I have been using my desktop when my laptop was away D:
Nights without fan still don’t help. Haha.

All the people are either chionging to study for exams or assignments.
I guess I need to do that as well.

Oh yeah! had a great time at Elliot’s house last night!
Haha..really good food prepared!
It was very funny before that. Elliot and I bought stuff from Cheers but we didn’t see each other.
Until we met at Interchange, and I realised that he was also holding on to Cheers plastic bag. HAHA.
We had icecream that Elliot bought from Ice Cream Chef. It’s really very nice. Checked out websites about it..looks really good man. It’s very expensive also. One small tub costs $12.90!
And finally we get to see the CUTE FAT PENGUIN! Ryan’s attempt to kidnap it failed. LOL
It was a great hangout! (:

Just now there was a scary encounter.
I was happily washing the plates…almost done waiting for the water to clear from the basin..
Then suddenly I felt something fell from my right shoulder and dropped into the water!
My first thought was..why a tadpole suddenly appear in the basin?!?!
The very next second I realised it’s a small lizard that’s BLACK..yucks.
I scream and jumped to the living room. LOL
Thinking of it now still gives me goosebumps. Totally gross. HAHA
In the end my mum picked it up and throw into the bin -.-

I don’t know how to end this entry because I am just blogging randomly.
Today I shall start catching up with my schoolwork!
MOUNTAINS! BE GONE! HAHA -.-
(okay not magic show. i need to put faith into actions)

Follow up training with Pastor Lia was just revolutionary.
Really very thankful to have such awesome Pastors who never fails to give their best for God and God’s people.

We don’t serve God by feelings, but we serve by character.
Not afraid of hard work.
Not afraid of routines.
We do it for God.
We do it because we love God.

Have been thinking and reflecting a lot but never came to a conclusion.
But God just saves the day.

Going though the whole 8 lessons of follow up notes, refreshes myself with the teachings of God. And also learned a lot of things from Pastor Lia.

Living a victorious life everyday….

“Doing this together with You, changing lives one at a time…”

Service was just great last week.
How I wished you, you and you were here with me!

2 greatest day in a lifetime:
-the day you are born
-the day you find out why you are born

What Pastor shared is really powerful, and really got me thinking.
Look around the room you are in..every single thing has a purpose, including you and me.
It would be really sad if everything has a purpose except you and me!
We will be worse of than a computer? a handphone? a door?

It burdens me to see people who just keep on going through the routine life, without knowing what is the great purpose and destiny that lies ahead of them.

And I need to also constantly remind myself, what’s the purpose of my life in the midst of going through the busy life. Everything is moving fast, and we tend to do everything we need to do..and at the end of the day, we forgot what is the purpose.

Got back ICA1 results for business communications today.
Some happy, some disappointed.
Results seems to matter a lot to everyone.
It is indeed important, due to various reasons.
But there’s something bigger in life we can look towards to.

Young people often think that they can only make great impact when they are older.
And older people thinks they are too old.
But the fact is, all of us can make an impact NOW!
Don’t miss any opportunity. It’s NOW!
Others can look down on us, but we can never look down on ourselves.
Even through the smallest thing we say and do, it can make a difference.

Love is a decision.
Change is a decision.
It all starts with a decision.
We got to make the right decisions everyday.

Today is the first day of June.
I am thinking through and reflecting, setting my next 60 days goal.

Read this on Pst Josh Kelsey’s blog. And it’s the same cry in my heart:

Sometimes we just tend to follow the flow, and at the end of the day not knowing where we are heading to…

I must refrain from saying/thinking, “I don’t know” or “Later”
Don’t know, find out.
Not later, but now.

One Life for God, it’s worth it.
Keep going…

Feel so burdened about quite a number of people.
Seriously don’t like the devil.
I am just going to pray and pray and pray to get you down under my feet!

It’s gonna be a good day!

I must really say that there is no other best place to be at during weekends other than Heart of God Church.
No other place I would rather be at.
Today’s service was just so powerful!
Think Generationally.
One life, can change the world.
If I burn, I burn. I will never bow.

Really inspired by maryse’s testimony too.
Opened me up to a whole new perspective.

Pastor mentioned before, the first step to love others, is to think of others.
I think it’s very true.
Everyone of us may have our own problems, own life to live.
But put others before self
Think of others.
I am not loving people enough.
Stop being self-absorbed.
I want to love people more.

Work out what God has worked in.
Be ready to face whatever He is going to bring.
Rise to the occasion.

I am a grown-up, a fact that I can’t change.
But sometimes, I feel like there’s so much that I still have to change, to grow and be mature in my thinking.
There are certain some things that is not right in my life that is needed to be changed/removed.

A lot of times I wondered, why God is willing to let me take responsible of the things I am doing now, even before I am ready, before I am matured. Because sometimes it feels like things gets out of control.

Well that’s only what I think. God certainly thinks otherwise.
Though I may be one with much flaws, God’s promises never changes.
His love still remains.

God’s words spoke so cleary when I read this:

Philippians 3:12
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

Philippians 3:14-15
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this in mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.

Philippians 3:21
who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able to even to subdue all things to Himself.

It’s not because of the nature inclination that we have.
It’s not because that we are already perfected.
But it’s because God has placed His calling on us.

Nowadays, I feel limited by many factors.
But I decided that I shouldn’t let circumstances limit me.
I must find my way out.
Got to learn to fly above the storms.
Tenacity.

God is good.
Always good.
Nothing beats having Him in my life.
He knows me inside out.
He made me the way I am, and He is in the process of molding, and refining the rough edges.
In my weakness, He strengthened me, and His glory shall be shown.

The joy of the Lord is my strength.
The joy of the Lord is your strength.

Empty-handed, but alive in Your hands.
I may be limited, but God is a God that is unlimited.
So have faith in God.

I have never love going to school so much (:
I enjoyed learning new things everyday! Yay!

Though waking up early for morning classes might be a struggle for me, but being able to pray before school feels really good early in the morning! (:

Enjoying all the lectures as well, except one that I really have to keep pushing myself to stay awake…LOL
But generally school is great! (:
NYP has really tried to improve the school environment man. I love my school more than before..HAHA!

So many many many-ful birthdays these 2 weeks.
Haha…friday was hanis, saturday, yuwen and carol, sunday manping and mrs song, monday vanessa, elliot and shengye, wednesday carlo and faith….and the list goes on.. hahaha..

okay it’s like 5am now. typing random things =.=

oh yes. one fine day as i was going to school and i was in the lift. There is this Ahma and a maid trying to ask 2 little girls to come into the lift faster. Then the Ahma said this,”Faster come in, Auntie needs to go to work”(in chinese) I was like stunned and almost laughed out loud. Just find it quite funny. I think at the moment she just couldn’t find a proper word to call me (:

another thing that happened during the week was that…as I was going out, I realised my shoes were gone because someone threw away my shoes, and I couldn’t go out to meet Valerie on Monday morning at Tanjong Pagar as I couldn’t wear slippers to school. So had to go buy shoes instead =.=

Alright…I think I shall end off here..my brain is not working well right now already. haha

School is starting very very soon.
I don’t really like my timetable..because it starts so early and end so late almost everyday!
But well, school is still going to be good!
I actually sort of not look forward to school after I see the timetable.
I complained a lot about it…
But actually, it’s how I see it.
I might have lesser time to work around with now, but I will learn to live above these.

Moreover, I love to hangout with BI0903 too (:
They are just a group of amazing people. haha (:

Well, what do I feel as school is starting soon?
A bit nervous, a bit excited.
It’s really a total new studying environment.
I remember I was thinking how am I going to be like in my new class.
I begin to 4th dimension-ed it, and I see it coming to pass.

Amazing how God has worked through my life.
Had Presentation Skills Boot Camp today.
And towards the end we had to present about something.
As I was waiting to present, I was very nervous and shivering(partly because of the aircon too).
I just prayed before going up and I did it!
Manage to keep myself composed, and spoke what I wanted to say.

I would never be able to do it with such confidence in the past.
Haha..I used to speak so softly and mumble to myself seriously.
I remember when I was young, I cried because I had to do this drama thing in front of the class. I totally freak out I think. The teacher had to negotiate and talk to me.
But I have gradually grown to be more confident, which shows that confidence can be built! (:

This time round, just felt very different.
Really felt that God has built me up, and I am really changed inside out.
I just enjoying talking to people, knowing more about people’s lives! It’s just part of me already.
And I feel okay just to be myself wherever I go.
The HOGC DNA has flowed into my life and becomes my own convictions.
Now got to learn to be more pucntual..especially for my MORNING CLASS AT 8AM!
Madness. Haha…

Aside from school, I am amazed by the Easter harvest (: Made new friends like elliot and shengye. Nice people to talk to! (:
And it never fails to bring joy to my heart seeing people rising up, and how they are growing from faith to faith, glory to glory! (:

Had a great refreshing weekend!

Went back to Xinmin for Homecoming Day.
Not long after I reached, IT RAINED! LOL
Met many juniors, and finally met my dear junior ruixin! haha!
Went to band room to hang out a while..listening to SYF recording.
Could hear everyone scream for so long when the results were announced. haha!
I saw Timothy too! He has grown so much!
I realised the last time I saw him was like 3 years ago..when he was only Sec 1!
He is like a longer version of what I seen last time HAHA!
After that travelled to church for Prayer meeting and Service!! :D

Service was awesome seriously..
When I saw Ivan’s parents on the projection screen getting prayed for I just break down into tears of joy! (:
His presence was just so thick!
Just can’t stop tearing and I don’t know why too..haha (:

Sunday was even better!
Pastor Lia preached something really powerful and so many people were being ministered (:

Was very privileged to be able to support Pastors at the operation side, and we manage to set a good platform for Pastor to step on and preach! (:
Everyone flowed together as a team well!
Pamela and Baosheng are really good..
Can’t really tell that they are new crews. Both are so zai..steady man! (:
There are still many things more to learn..

I don’t know where else to find a place like Heart of God Church.
Where do you see..youths below 25, some even below 13 serving in ushers, doing operations like lights, sound, photography, projection, livefeed, using all the very expensive equipments.
There’s just simply so much heart and trust Pastors and leaders have for us.
I truly treasure this place a lot. But it’s the people that made up Heart of God Church.
Relationships build there are so so precious! (:

And the spirit of excellence is so strong.
I have been exposed to really bad operations at other places…
I begin to realised that there is really something special in the house of God.
We must treasure it, and not take things for granted!
The anointing of God is just with us.. (:

School is starting in about 2 weeks’ time.
I am pretty looking forward to it.
It has been soooooooo loooooonnnnnnnggggggggggggg since I last studied. Haha.
I am jealous with people who are studying.. (:
Seriously, time to get my brain working and exercising more to train it up..
I am sure it’s getting really rusty in there now…

Oh yeahh..just helped my mum to cleaned up my parents’ room to move away the bed, because a “new” bed is coming in on Friday when my grandma is moving house.
22 years worth of dust.  The dust looks like sand that you can draw a picture on it.
Vacuuming isn’t enough, got to wipe with cloth..Vacuum again..and repeat several times. Haha..
It’s clean now! Awesome (:

Mum is happy and I am happy! Heh (:

Had a great Pastoral meeting with Pastors on Tuesday night! (:

Today had my orientation!
Though it was my second time having orientation, but I still enjoyed myself pretty much! (:
It felt very different from my first orientation..
I can’t remember clearly who, but one of the speaker said something that struck me.
“Your NYP life begins as a blank sheet of paper”
Opportunities are given, how am I going to fully utilise my next 3 years of journey in this new course is all up to what I choose to do!
It’s certainly going to be different this time round!

I have a really awesome group of friends in my class! :D
I feel that everyone is just very encouraging (:
I think the culture in SIDM differs slightly from SIT. haha
Tomorrow going to be a long long day….

But it’s going to be great!! :D
